Those things were here long before anyone else showed up here. This is coming from someone who lived in the city before the attack.

I don't think you're freaks, I'm pretty sure whoever said that is a very insensitive person who doesn't think before they speak. Why blame people who probably all just want to go home?

I haven't even been here that long and I don't want to be here. We'll be fine though...it's all about sticking together. Trust me, I've been stuck in a lot of places I didn't want to be and the one thing that always pulled me through were the people around me that helped.

"Freak" is a term of convenience used by people who have nothing to take pride in except their supposed "normality." Besides, whatever corrupted that man, it's likely not any of us...certainly not you. Pay it no mind.
