I just don't see why we need to coddle each other and tell ourselves that we're special snowflakes and there's nothing remotely messed up about our lives. I was dead before I got here. I'm not going to say that isn't weird or freakish.

The term freak is not labeled by who is at fault. It's just how it is.

We were brought here by freakish circumstances. Don't tell me that you actually think all crap that's happened here is at all normal, even by your world's standards.

Well... no it's not, and there are people here who can do things nobody in my world can do, but

It's just those people are calling us that because they think it's our fault!

We didn't ask to be here, but we are part of the problem. We're reminders of everything that's gone wrong in their world. They want someone to point their finger at. If it makes them feel better, let them. Unless they start forming lynch mobs, I wouldn't worry about it. Some of us are their only chance for survival since they can heal the monster bites anyway.
